É um texto que marca os pontos históricos, mudanças legais e quem foram os principais personagens responsáveis pela implantação do declínio da família e pelos milhões de abortos que vivemos hoje em dia. Personagens que defendiam o aborto dos considerados mais fracos (eugenia), como Margaret Singer e o médico Gregory Pincus incentivador do uso da pílula.
